This advanced elementary French language and culture course allows students to review the basic elements of spoken and written French that they have learned in Elementary French Language and Culture I before moving to more complex structures and competencies. They learn how to express themselves in everyday life situations. In class, work will be supplemented by multimedia activities and real-life situations in the city of Paris. Learning objectives for this Elementary A2 level course are:

• understand sentences and frequently used expression related to areas of everyday life (e.g. very basic personal & family information, shopping, local geography, employment)

• communicate simple and routine tasks

• describe your background, immediate environment, and basic needs
